Mechanism of action

An alkylating agent that works by adding an alkyl group to DNA. This cross-links DNA strands, preventing cancer cell division and synthesis, ultimately inhibiting the growth and spread of malignant tumours.

Pregnancy: must not be used during pregnancy. Breastfeeding: must not be used while breastfeeding.
