Mechanism of action

Minomycin is a tetracycline antibiotic that binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, effectively inhibiting protein synthesis and preventing bacterial growth and replication.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy: Contraindicated; may cause permanent discoloration of teeth and affect bone growth in the fetus. Breastfeeding: Contraindicated.
