Mechanism of action

Nintedanib acts as a multiple tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits pathways involved in fibrosis, preventing the development of scar tissue in the lungs and slowing the decline of lung function.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy: Use is contraindicated during pregnancy. Breastfeeding: Breastfeeding must be discontinued during treatment.
