Mechanism of action
Diclofenac inhibits the cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which prevents the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnancy: Not recommended in third trimester. Breastfeeding: Small amounts excreted.
